I used to do tons of logging on my 2.0T and after some time just enjoying the S4 I've started doing some data logging again. My real goal is to do some testing on different intake hardware/drops in to see if they make any measurable different in performance. Additionally it would be cool to see some similar data logs of APR 91/93 cars to see if the tune paramaters really are different or are identical like most people think.

One trick I discovered is that when going to advanced measure blocks make sure you hit the "group UDS requests" buttons on the top left. The turbo button actaully doesn't do anything for UDS cars like ours but the group requests increased the data sample rate by a factor of 5 and let me get some really good resolution on the data!

A few things I didn't expect: This car has a boost specified/requested curve just like a turbo motor. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise. :) Interestingly, with my car at least, the boost spec'd curve at times was lower than boost actual causing my boost valve to open and shunt boost. From the graphs you can see it was a very minimal amount. I'd be very interested to see if those with APR or other stasis car ssee their boost valve opening at all. I'd also love to see the timing curve on APR 93/100 as that is going to be the big difference between the octane ratings.

All in all the data shows the stasis tune running strong!

Here is the graph; X axis = rpm and Y axis=PSI/Degrees Timing/Boost Valve Duty Cycle
