Rusted Wheel Help Needed!!

As the topics states im seeking help getting the wheels of a Audi A4 i recently bought. Ive tried lubricating then hammering the wheels to get it off but it does not budge. I even tried forcing it off from underneath the car.
I am wondering if i need to loosen that hex bolt in the center to get it off.

Can someone assist or offer suggestions on how to get it off. Please see the pics below. All wheels are the same.

This is the Solution that worked for me. I loosened all five bolts just a little and lubricated the hub bolt and inside between the rim and the hub (see picture). I then drove the car a short distance at slow speeds then jammed the brakes. I wasnt sure once was enough so i tried again and again. This method is fairly risky, so attempt with caution. On the third "move then stop" the wheel begun to wobble. I had three wheels that were seized I suggest you try this method with just one wheel at a time, if youve properly lubricated the wheel (best if done overnight) once or twice should be enough. I tried hammering, from inside outside and all angles that didnt work.

someone said i should loosen the bolts a bit let the car roll then slam on the brakes. i do not have access to a impact wrench, however i should also let u know that i was able to take the bolts off.

Use a crowbar to pry them off or use a sledgehammer.

i tried this using a 2x4 board doesnt help.

1 - Reinsert at least 1 lug bolt 3 turns (so the wheel doesn't go flying and scratch the front when it lets go).

2. Raise wheel in question off of the ground. Do not use just the Audi supplied jack. At least jack stands here.

2 - Take a 5lb pound sledge hammer to inside sidewall of the tire. Put down your purse and use Both hands over your head. 1 hand will not cut it. Take a couple whacks. Try not to hit the rim, as you can dent it a bit, but it is the inside anyway so not a big deal.

3 - If it doesn't let go, spin the wheel around halfway and take a few more whacks. If it doesn't come off in 10 whacks or less, you need to surrender your man card...or stop welding your wheels on. Don't give up, keep spinning the wheel and whacking the inside HARD. It will let go, I promise. Key points: 5lb or better sledge and both hands with a healthy swing.

Alternate: In the case you don't have a sledge or jack stands (like on the side of the road), you can loosen all 5 lug bolts (but only halfway or less) and drive the car slowly with perhaps some moderate steering and braking input to load the wheel. It shouldn't take much to get it loose, just be careful. I much prefer the sledge method if possible as it is much more controlled and less chance for an incident.

Once removed, you should take steps to prevent it happening again. Use a coarse sandpaper to clean off the OD of the hub and the ID of the wheel where the hub fits into. Clean it up nice and then apply some axle grease to both surfaces to prevent future corrosion.

Thanks for all the help guys. This morning i sprayed some more lubricant loosen the bolts drove a short distance and it came loose. Again thanks for all suggestions.

Sledge hammer while the car is jacked works numero uno. Apply some grease on the mating surfaces.

I had to do the same thing. I used a baseball bat wrapped in a towel and slammed the shit out of the wheel from the inside. I had to set it down re-tighten the bolts and rotate the tire even but that method was the only one that even came close to working. Good luck!
