Hotchkis rear sway with Neuspeed hardware

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just bought a used Hotchkis rear sway bar that was suppose to come with the bracket/hardware to install it. The hardware got "lost" during shipping. I currently have a Neuspeed sway bar and was wondering if I could use the hardware from it to install the Hotchkis one? I believe the Hotchkis is 22mm and the Neuspeed is 19mm.

    Thanks for the help guys.

You don't have any of the bracketry? I'm not surprised at the cost; the brackets and reinforcements are the most expensive part. The bar itself isn't that expensive.

I think you'll be better of selling your Neuspeed and buying the brackets, or fabricating some (CAUTION: please do this professionally, since there is an INCREDIBLE amount of force on the swaybar). The Neuspeed bar is 19mm vs. 22mm on Hotchkis, so you'll need new bushings too and I doubt the bolt pattern is is the same for the bushing caps.

call drew oliver over at hotchkis. he is a cool dude and might give you a good deal. their brackets i believe are only 100 bucks and come with all the bolts. im not sure why you got quoted so high. maybe call them up and talk to someone else.

I was under the impression that some were running the beefier H&R rear sway bar with the neuspeed brackets. Would the same not work for the hotchkis bar? Can't he just use it with the neuspeed brackets?

A place between here and there

I really don't see why the Nuespeed subframe reinforcement bracket won't work. That and the Hotchkis reinforcement bracket serve the same purpose, but just through a different design. Only thing I can see causing an issue is the mounting bracket/bushing that goes over the bar. Not too sure if that 3mm will cause that much of an issue, but you won't know unless you actually try to place it on. And if that's the case, ask for a price quote on those 2 bushings.

I am coming from a Nuespeed rear with stock front to Hotchkis f&r (B5 A4, but same thing when it comes to this).
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
