Boost Gauge Cycling Colors

I have a new south boost gauge that came with the ecs tuning column gauge kit, the thing out of nowhere started cycling colors. I put the resistor on per the instructions from new south if the gauge started doing that. But, the gauge is still cycling colors, does anyone have any ideas why it is doing that or any possible fixes?

I know not really helpful lol, I would remove this feature physically. Prolly a printed circuit in the gauge? Mecahnical gauge?

I normally dont notice it because I am used to it now but every now and then a bright color will come up and catch me off guard and then I just get pissed off that it is still doing it lol. It is mechanical but I am ready to just say the hell with the ecs column and the new south gauge I have been having troubles since day one with it.

Are you sure its not set to change colors at a certain psi? My podi flashes red after like 15-16psi

Im positive, it cycles through about 20 different colors regardless of what psi it is. I mean the directions said that if it was doing that install the resistor which I did and that didnt work.

Either get them to find a fix, or return and buy a real gauge... Like Podi! Jk, find out the bore of the mount, and ^see what other gauges will fit in it. Then ^see if they will work a deal for your troubles. Link them to this thread. Tell them it would show good customer service ect... :-)

I had a problem with my electric vent gauge, called him and he replace the faulty gauge even if I bought it from a canadian distributor and didn't have an invoice.

They really stand behind their products.

OP sounds like they already got good CS so just figure out if this is really the gauge for you and go from there :-)
