Help!! My battery died last week after leaving my headlights on and my stereo went into safe mode. My battery's now been fully recharged by trickle feed over 12 hours, I'm entering the correct code with the keys on in the ignition, following all the instructions correctly yet after entering the code and pressing RD and TPS again together, it continues to stay in safe mode and doesn't flash and show a radio station and unlock as it's supposed to. It's been into Audi and they've checked the radio code and the serial number with my chassis number and it's definitely the original stereo in the correct car and I've definitely got the right code yet it's still locked. I've been driving around for a week with no stereo and am devestated with no sounds! Can anyone help........please?

from my instructions if you entered the incorrect code, which sounds like you did by mistake maybe, don't know.
The instructions that I have because I just replaced mine are as follows.
If an incorrect code is entered the word "SAFE" appears, first flashing then continuously. You can repeat the steps to unlock, but like I said if the code was entered incorrectly. Your radio will be locked for about an hour. After one Hour the radio must stay on
and the key in the ignition when the display goes out then you can repeat the code procedure to unlock again.
the cycle-two attempts one hour lock up still applies.
    Good Luck PITA!!!
