so between work and bad weather things are still moving slow.
i'm still trying to get the engine running right. as of a few weeks ago it was misfiring, and stumbling. after i replaced the MAF, it wasn't stumbling any more and would half ass idle on it's own, but was misfiring on all four cylinders at idle. above 2000rpms it seemed to run fairly smooth, but other then the misfires wasn't trowing any codes. so i held it around 2k for a few minutes and finally got it to throw a code for the primary o2 sensor.
i went ahead and ordered a new o2 from the dealership, and installed a USP metal slave cylinder because mine was making a sucking sound when i pressed it in and stayed at the floor.
the old one actually turned out to be worse then i thought. after i got it out, i went to compare the rod lengths, and it completely exploded when i popped off the boot.
anyways, i got it all in, flushed the entire brake system, and actually got the clutch working. it was kind of a personal victory that day, because i got to move the car under it's own power for the first time, even though it was only like ten feet
a couple days later i got the new o2 sensor in from the dealership. it cost me $250

but it didn't have to deal with ECS
WTF, are these things gold plated or something?!
so i got the new o2 installed, and it was still misfiring on cylinders 1 and 2. i tried re-gaping the plugs, and cleaning the grounding points for all the coils on the valve cover. still no dice.
needless to say that day ended with me being a little agitated with it. i still haven't messed with it since then, but i'm going to double check all the engine grounds, and pressure test, but i didn't find anything obvious just by looking things over.
so after i gave up on the engine, i decided to swap out my headliner, and found something a little interesting...
yup! that's someones mail.
no idea how it got up there, but it's a letter from some lawyer from back in 06'.
also found a SHIT LOAD of pine needles up there.
i cleaned out all the sunroof drains while i had everything out. hopefully it'll fix the condensation issues i've been having in the car. there was some moisture build up above the headliner on the roof, and the headliner had some stains on it.
a couple picture from during the install. the sunroof shade is a total bitch!
the same day i tossed on some longer rear wheel studs, and those 15mm spacers. i'm pretty happy with the final fitment. it gave it just the perfect amount of poke, but should still be functional.
