    Doing Timing Belt, Water pump and re-tune, anything else I should look at?

    Hey guys,

    Doing the tb and water pump this week. Also going to refresh my eurodyne tune as well because i've been getting some pinging under WOT.

    Anything else you can think of that might need attention since the engine is being opened up? I'm at 95 thousand KM.

    Might as well replace the serpentine belt while you are in there. And service your DV.

    I would say while you're tearing into things I would check the coolant flange, Upper and Lower temp sensors, thermostat and J-Plug...

    Funny you mention these. Most of these failed on me about 10 thousand km ago, so they have been recently replaced. Thanks.

    Just an update, the ECS kit was perfect. Installed about 1 thousand km ago and everything is perfect, car feels a bit newer somehow too.
