Hello everyone,

I've been lurking a few days. Looking to possibly upgrade my daily driver to an Audi S4.

I found one locally being sold privately. Here are details:

2011 Audi S4 / Quartz Gray
Prestige Package (and everything that goes with it: B&O, Advance Key, Nav, Parking Sensors, 19" wheels)
1900 miles (very low)
7 Speed S-tronic transmission
Stainless steel inlays
Sports Diff.
Delivered to dealership: Dec 2011
Extremely clean: He's even put rugs on top of his floor mats.

DOES NOT HAVE: Audi Drive Select or Dynamic Cruise Control

I'm waiting on window sticker but owner said it was @$59k.

Originally asking $53.9k. He's indicated he would take $52k.

Thoughts from everyone?

My general sense is that this isn't a bad deal. But maybe not terrific, either.
Back of napkin calculation:Assuming he actually paid @$57k.... he'd be out $5k for about 9 months of ownership.

I did take vehicle for short drive. Very well planted and just feels much better than a Lexus IS350 I had driven last week. I currently own a Nissan GTR for weekends, autocross, and some road course tracking. Obviously, the S4 feels much more luxurious than the GTR. But with AWD, 4 doors, and semi-auto transmission (for the wife), this looks like a terrific daily driver that can drive to work, pick up clients, take kids to events, etc., etc. Lastly, I gather most people think the water pump issue is not a problem with 2011 and later models.. does that sound correct?

Anyhow, thanks in advance for any input.
