    FWIW-
The spread-sheet is still up on DROPBOX (shortblock_specs.xls) I just checked....Most of the links shown on page-2 are dead or missing the photos....
The body of the spread-sheet,however, still has important info.

The link in the OP is still good for the spreadsheet (but it's not titled shortblock_specs.xls).

    Hi Jibberjive--

Great document, thanks for compiling! I have something to add to the 5/16" ARP rod bolts section, just to add some detail and clarify. I spent a fair amount of time on the phone with both ARP and RPM because I was using a rod bolt stretch gauge and couldn't find a stretch value anywhere for the ARP 2000 bolts that come standard on many of the aftermarket rods (the H beam type--IE, rosten, RPM, etc). FYI the bolts are a different length if you're assembling the engine with ARP 2000 upgraded bolts on stock rods vs. the common H beam type, and thus different stretch specs. Anyhow, for RPM at least, the 5/16 2000 bolts need to be torqued between .0050 and .0055 inches. In my measurements, .0050 was commonly between 29-33 ft/lbs, and .0055 was between 32-36 ft/lbs depending on the bolt. That was with a new calibrated torque wrench verified across 2 different new wrenches and is supposed to be within 4% accurate. if you're just upgrading the stock rods with arp bolts you can find the stretch value on ARP's webpage.

    Cheers,

    Chris

Also if we're cleaning up the document, please revise the units to "FT-LB" instead of "FT/LBS". FT/LBS is pretty funny :D

I noticed some people stating the Bentley is incorrect in regards to cam timing, are they referring to the S4 Bentley? Or is this diagram in the rs4 service manual incorrect as well in regards to S4 (apb/bel)? Gonna be replacing cam tensioners when I do my next timing belt so I am gathering info.
