I've seen the rebar fab on here probably gonna do that instead of getting a rebar but just in case.
I already e-mailed the body shop the modded rebar DIY for reference.
The body shop has the front/sides installed and they are gonna go ahead with painting those pieces first and have extra paint while I source the rear section.

Got the car back from the shop for now, it will be going back in next week for the sportec rear to go in, grills, and touching up some small fitment things
Wheels will be getting refinished later this month or early next month

Thanks Tom, there are some very small fitment things that could get touched up here and there.
I also want to get some rock chips patched and have the entire front sprayed including the sides of the fenders so might be in the shop for another 2 weeks.
The door blades will be painted for those that care, and wheel color choice I'm thinking of going with an anthracite tone.

I'll be heading over the border sometime next week to pick up a USP rear and I'll probably have a USP lower valence available if anyone needs

Tom/Bryan how did you guys mount the fog light grills? tapping screws?

Yes, use self-tapping screws and use the existing holes in the grilles. There should be some material remaining around the fog light cages that you can drill into.

I held the grille in the position I wanted it in and then used a small drill bit and ran it through the existing holes in the grilles to make a mark on the foglight cage. I then removed the grille and drilled pilot holes in the fog light cages (2 per side). I then used small stainless steel self-tap screws to hold the grilles in position. Don't overtighten the screws or it will strip out the pilot holes. The grilles will move a little once they are completely attached as the foglight cages flex.

I actually really like it. Sort of a non-OEM exaggerated USP look. That flows a bit more than the harder edged USP. Did sportec go under or something though? Or just stop making b6 stuff?
