however, this didn't turn off the "ignition on" warning that happens when you open the door with the key in (but engine off). any thoughts on that one? =P
Today I have tried couple things. 1) The light switch can be 0, auto, parking lights on, head lights on 2) Get out of car and lock the car. It gave "lights are on" warning only at the switch is on " parking lights on" position not others! LEDs were on as parking lights only. No other lights were on any other state. Therefore we have very low risk of having a dead battery due to lights. Mine is always on auto position anyways...

BTW ignition warning is next on my list. Let's hope the luck is on our side...
