    LOL indeed the feature is hidden for a reason. That said, good job finding it. I did this in my previous VAG car and never left the lights on unintentionally. I'm just used to leaving the switch set to automatic.

    Will give this a shot, thanks for sharing!

    Just to be sure I understand, in "AUTO" with the VCDS coding, this ^^ should never be a concern, right? In other words, it would only be an issue if you manually turned on the lights and left them in that mode?
