Oil around engine, Gas leaking from HPFP!!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi guys,

I have problem with my A4.
Oil is leaking around the engine and gas leaks from the top of my HPFP!
Does anybody knows what is this related to?
Car is well maintained, everything is stock on it.
I know my PVC is good because I bought three of them and nothing changes when I swap them.
Also, there is an oil behind the engine what you can see on those pictures.
Gas leaks even if the car is not running.
I did not drive it for two days but still gas is leaking.

I would like to ask only those who had the same problems like I did to help me solve it !
    Images:
as you can see, I always have oil around my cap even if the PVC is changed with the new one...

this side of engine is oily...

other side near PVC looks good even if I did not ever clean my engine...

behind an engine-next to the CAT is an oil...where does it comes from and why???

Oil on the oil cap is normal. Looks like your valve cover gasket is leaking. Can't help you with the leaking HPFP though.
    Good luck.

    hi,
I had a bad PCV before which I have changed with the new one. After several problem which I had in the past with my DV which gone bad, I started searching for solutions and many of guys from Audizine told me that my PCV. That is why I did buy another one but my DV was bad.
Also, couple months later, I had problems with misfires when my injector was bad so again, many told that PCV is bad even if I did try to swap ma OEM one with the one bought when I had problems with DV. :)

So now, I have tree of them...

    Thanks

valve gasket is most likely the culprit of your oil

as for the gas, check all your bolts around the hpfp, the fuel pressure relieve valve leaks gas when you change your follower when you unscrew it but to be safe i would pull the hpfp inspect the seals and o-rings and then put it back on, there are a lot of helpful diy's

3 pcv vlaves? was the dealership holding a buy one get two event i had no idea about?

behind an engine-next to the CAT is an oil...where does it comes from and why???

    Hi to all,

I have changed my valve cover gasket and I have solved my problem with the oil around my engine.

I would like to ask, can I have a leak behind my engine-pic above because my camshaft seal is not good. It seems like the oil comes from camshaft...

    Thanks
