That's a lame excuse, if you don't want to spend 3K, don't get a 1K replica version of 3K wheels, get 1K wheels from one of the many brands that make good quality, original wheels with proper engineering behind them.

I have a car thats worth 8 g's. Im not going to buy wheels that are worth 1/2 the value of the car. Shit, the 800 bucks i paid for mine was too much for my taste, but i needed wheels that look good.

Great set of wheels for the price Took a beating on my commute to and from NYC. No bends or Cracks either.
Wheels curentyl have a new owner, sold after 2 months. But have a new set lined up for early spring. another 18x9.5 or 19x9.5 all four corners!

They are VIP Modular VXS-110, and the owner posted the specs a few pages back: 20x10 ET +22 Front and 20x11.0 ET +19 Rear

Give me a couple good reasons that your $3000+ wheels are better than mine?

They weigh considerably less (better performance, braking distance, fuel consumption, suspension workload, ect, ect), are much stronger (my forged wheels survived potholes that would demolish any cast rep), with a surface finish that is guaranteed to last longer. But that is all beside the point. You guy make it sound like the entire wheel market is expensive wheels and cheap replicas of those expensive wheels and nothing else... There is a wide selection of cheap wheels that aren't replicas. Most of them are better built too. Reps of good aftermarket wheels are for posers, regardless of what you tell yourself.

i had front tint. many times. but its not worth getting pulled over. especially since if i am asked to pop my hood by an officer, my car likely going to the impound.

id rather avoid any reason to be pulled over. the car gets enough attention as it is.
