Seriously though, I'm strongly considering buying this car. Hopefully I will be going to see it in the next 72 hours (<** only reason I haven't seen it yet is because its 2hrs away).

HOWEVER, this car just had the rear bumper painted because there were some scratches in it.

I have been extremely nervous about it though because the QUATTRO emblem is missing off the car, leading me to believe its been hit, but the dealer SWEARS this is not true. Granted they have done everything in their power to prove this to me (sending me walk around videos, pictures, carfaxes, certification, etc.

Its just been getting to me and now I'm second guessing myself paying this much for a car that has had a body panel resprayed already.

If your this uneasy about it, then skip it and wait for the next one. A car is a car, theres 1000 more like it out there. Just keep looking until a "no brainer" comes along then jump on it.

Not sure if this was brought up or not but this car has done an Sline trunk to Non-Sline trunk. Probably was rear ended before?

I would definitely pass, it doesn't have the right trunk on it... It was definately hit and not reported to insurance. Plus no xenons and it's auto with gray interior, the price is high IMO for a b7. I got mine for 24k 3 years ago with 14k on it. I'd look around more you could find a titanium for that price

having said that, i wouldnt, just cause i hate that interior, shop around, i purchased my 08 with 28k miles with warranty till next year(auto) white on black for a good amount less

That and do you wear a lot of blue jeans? black pants? Because it's very easy for the colors to fade from the pants... into the seats. Ask me how I know.

Literally, thats all I wear is black pants (dress pants though, don't think I should have a problem with them?) and blue jeans LOL Someone else mentioned this to me and I kind of blew it off. That color also looks like absolute HELL once it starts to break it and get worn down, it just looks dirty no matter how clean it is.

My gut isn't telling me to skip but my gut has felt funny from the beginning, I think its just because it's alot of money to spend on a car (for me atleast) so I want it to be perfect (or as close to perfect as I can possibly find) and these little things like missing badges and such makes my head go crazy with all sorts of ideas as to why

This car IS certified as well, so thats a big plus. I have the remaining existing warranty plus another 2yr 50,000 mile warranty with it... thats a big plus and makes up for the MAYBE 1,500 in price markup.

That car DEFINATELY is supposed to come with an s line trunk, and as you can see it has a regular trunk with a missing badge. This car is sooo not worth it, halogen headlights no nav nothing worth the high price tag, find another cpo man

That non-sline trunk wasn't available on the 08 model, so the trunk was replaced at some point. This car was most likely rear-ended and fixed out of pocket (no carfax history). Keep looking.

Hey 88BlueGT. I just bought mine 2 months ago exact from today's date. It's an 08 A4 2.0T Quattro, CPO, Black on Brilliant Black, 36k miles, $23.3k. Love it. I think it's odd because "your" car looks like it has the S-Line exterior trim(front bumper blades, door blades, same color rear valance), like all the 08's have, like mine. The emblem is not on the front grille, and the trunk lid does not have the molded trunk lip (spoiler). I know the miles are low, so the CPO should last you a while which is good. I honestly do not like the interior with this blue color. Seems like that place is just matching their price to that low mileage. I think you should wait. If you're not like, Wow!, when you see the car, you will regret it later, with your car notes. You could always go up there and check it out. When I originally went to the Audi dealer to get a Special Edition Quattro, I saw the one I own now, on the lot. Nav, Bose, Convenience Pkg., and sports suspension (red shocks). You actually may find "the" car maybe with more miles, but better colored and equipped. I know I did. Good luck either way, from a never owned, new buyer of Audi.

They have put in ATLEAST 10 hours already into this deal and getting everything situated. It's kind of their own fault though for getting ahead of themselves, eh.... guess back to the drawling board. Not getting a black interior is my second biggest regret about my car. The first is not getting at least a S-Line.

^^ Agreed, black is nice. I WISH I could fine an ocean blue w/ black interior but they seem to be so rare I'm starting to believe they do not even make them.
