Either out one 80 then 23N or Bear Mountain, or back roads in NY by the vineyards.

Well I vote the new CBR I have. Amazing gas mileage, only costs me $130 a month to insure and pay the payment, it's got an extended warranty (5 years), and really just rides so damn well.

We should try to organize something to hit the back roads in central/nw nj sometime.

I ride an 848, I really want to get an old cafe racer to putt around on sometimes too.... After awhile sitting on the duc, it's like i'm sitting on an uncomfortable picnic bench.

The Honda Shadow's are nice (I prefer the smaller ones) My dad has a 90's Shadow 600, I haven't ridden it because IDK if I'm ready for a 600cc lol.

I chose new because the 250 fit me decently, the price was great, I liked the look, and a 5 year warranty means I will never have to put a dime into a repair lol.

did you know a licensed rider at the time?

also, i think laws like that are for "offroad" use. like for snowmobiling i could have had a "permit" @ the age of 12 to ride on marked trails.

I had a friend in high school that had a permit and a Suzuki Katana as long as he had a car permit. Only thing is obviously you do need parental consent if your under 18.

So anybody have any good suggestions for a lightweight helmet with bluetooth? I want to be able to use my iPhone on my helmet and stream GPS audio directions.

I picked up 2 Sena SMH10 bluetooth headsets and put them both on each helmet I own. I've used just about every feature on them now and they are AWESOME. You can adjust Iphone/Ipod all with basically 2 buttons (volume u/d, pause/play, next track (works for pandora too!) and I've used them both on my own bike between me and a bitty, and between bikes to the point where I couldn't see my buddy anymore. Best of all you don't have to buy a whole other helmet. I listen to the radio (I<3radio app) every morning on the way to work for 40 min. When I stop for gas or something, I can just pause it without even looking at my phone. Easily one of my favorite mods

Collett Electronics makes headsets for snowmobiles, look them up.

even if you don't want to talk to buddies you're with, or if you do, you can also have music playing through the secondary audio jack.

I tried that but it keps switching songs. I realize in hindsight that I had "shake to shuffle" on so I might go back to that. I didn't actually have a cradle though, rather a charger hooked up to the phone and a case that I fitted on the bike. Didn't need the music part since its Bluetooth

So I need to bring the bike in for it's 600 mile service. Only problem is 600 miles was 100 miles ago! I had 564 on Sunday..... Dealer wants $75 and basically they just adjust the valves.

Only $75 to adjust valves... nice. My valves have to be adjusted every 7500 miles at a cost of about $400 (the only guy who touches my bike charges less, and does better work), the dealer wants $700...

I'm just not sure. I believe you need shims to do it and I don't exactly have a bunch of shims laying around lol.
