I'll see what else I can find. But the links in my sig, should have quite a few (not sure if you're on Tapatalk or not). Looking to touch up the paint job, as the exterior has seen better days. When I was in Colorado, it was in the garage, 90% of the time. Since I moved to North Carolina, it hasn't been able to stay out of the sun 90% of the time...

Just needs a good rubbing compound/polishing compound/ top coat.... Rub her down.... that is when you aren't traveling all over the world

Agreed. A good paint correction would do her wanders.

Soooooo, I finally got to go out and enjoy driving my car again. 6 years in North Carolina, kinda drained the fun out of the Audi. Honestly not much new on the car, I've done some minor things the past couple years.

Got my final tune from UM before I left NC, JUST in time to go from 108' in altitude to 8500'+. So looks like I'll be making an appointment to get the tune updated to at least 5000'. Car is just under 90k and it is definitely showing it's age, but I still enjoy it!

NEVER should have gone with a 3" exhaust. I've been calling local shops to see if I can get someone to possibly build a Branch resonator, but keep getting turned away because I have no Cat.....

Oh, and also the bumper is cracked again (this time my fault.....)

You absolutely should have gone 3 inch. Sucks you can’t get someone to work on it but it’s probably the correct diameter that you need.

Yeh, it's pretty bad! Not sure if I have space for a branch resonator to be honest. I already have two resonators, and and e-cutout under the car. Might just go 2.5" after the DP, and call it good.

I was so worried about the drone getting worse going to a 3" downpipe, but it actually got a little better lol. I know a guy that is local that may be able to do it.

No, I get that.

Going to 2.5 inch with an EFR probably isn’t the best idea. Drone or not, stepping down to a 2.5 will cost him some power.

10” resonator directly at the bottom of the down pipe, purchase a louvred unit from DOC on eBay. He will custom make to length. Install it to catching the exhaust gassed into the louvre and bingo for $49 your drones gone. If you would like to change the drone you can also put the resonator on the angle upward section of down pipe, this will move your drone to be more like 3800 rpm or so.

There’s also a bunch of places making dimpled stainless steel tube. My bro in law has this on his 1.8T BT built Jetta his car has a 4’ section from bottom of down pipe back. This stuff is pretty awesome as the sound waves are just silences by the waves having to bounce off of hundreds of dimples/angles.

Wayyyyy over due update. Swapped out the DBX mufflers and went to Vibrant 1103's. Drone is is finally gone, an it definitely made drives quieter! Also swapped out the Audio system, and went to a Kenwood eXcelon DNX995S, DRV-N520 Dashboard Cam, Maestro Ar2 iDatalink (sold my VFIZ), and cDT ES-CRM-6K front components (rears are removed). And hopefully installed my last battery a Duracell 78DTAGM.

Don't think I ever posted my Springtime wheel setup (mainly because I didn't take pics until recently )











And yeh, it's March and I'm "just" now swapping to my winters. But hopefully this is the last wheel swap, as I plan to let the car go with the RS4 reps and sell the other sets separate.

Most if not all fighters or tactical aircraft are equipped with something like that for emergency landings. Some runways have an emergency cable on one or both ends of it so aircraft can hook on if needed in emergency during aborted takeoffs or landings usually referred to as arrestor cables.

Yeh, still looking at a Turbo S. Just need the prices to come back down. The chip shortage has caused the market to go insane. Really wanted a 991.2. Also going to see if I can find a deal on a Tacoma, and mod it for the trails.

This year I decided to get AWD again, as the Jetta was FWD. So I had to leave the VAG and get a BMW, as they are the only option for Wagon-Diesel-AWD here in the states.




But a invalid licensed, improperly insured driver of a Box truck decided to make an illegal turn and total out the BMW. So now I'm waiting on a MX.

HA!! Good eye. I took just about every mod I could off the car, but since I'm not getting another BMW, and that mount only works for that car, I figured it's a gift to the next owner. Heck they are getting a free Kerma TDI Stage II tune and Transmission tune hated losing that investment!
