    Exhaust Fitment Q

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have the Thermal aftermarket exhaust, the turbo-back one (the one from the cat-back actually)

So I'm wondering, if I take out the thermal downpipe, will the fitment be too big to match w/ the stock downpipe or no?

If so, any way to fix this or do I either have to do full stock exhaust or full thermal?

Yeah, it might be a pita...

The Thermal dp is 2.5" and then goes into 3"?

What are you trying to do?

Depending on the MODEL and production date of the Thermal exhaust, the older model (like the one I had) has a 2.25" inlet which transitions immediately to a 3" after the initial flexjoint in the DP.

    Anton,

WTF are you trying to do? Too loud? I would try adding a resonator. Putting on the stock DP (which aint possible BTW w/out some cutting and welding) is pointless...and you're better off going back to stock instead.

No, No, Not trying to make it quieter...

It's just that I plan on going back to stock exhaust in the summer probablly because of certain reasons, and I was just hoping to get the downpipe in w/ the cat because it's such a pita to do the downpipe later, but hey...

If it ain't possible, oh well.

I just hope the stock cat fits to the thermal.
