    2.0T/FSI coil packs

Saw a pretty active thread about this over on vortex, thought it'd be good for our community to know about and discuss.

    http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...ndom-new-stuff.

It seems the FSI coil packs have a hotter spark, makes the 1.8t run better. I'm wondering if this can become a cheaper alternative vs the Okada's.

    Part #s
    Same, just a color difference
    Mk5: 06E 905 115 E (red)
    Mk5: 07K 905 715 F (black)

    Newest
    Mk5/6: 06H 905 115 (2010 GTI, newer one)

NOTE: This is not a direct swap as the 2.0T coilpacks are longer and don't completely seal, some people are working on adapter plates.

Something I saw and am kicking it around for my built motor.

Should gap spark plugs to at least .040 to take advantage of the increased spark.
