    Sub/level harness issue

After 2 years of blown rear decks I finally decided to buy a small sub. I have a speaker level harness connected from the rear decks (post factor amp) directly into the aftermarket amp. Everything works fine, however if it turn the car off/take the key out the sub will no longer work when I go to turn to car on again. But if I disconnect and reconnect the wires that go from the rear decks to the level harness it works again. Reconecting the wires everytime I start the car is the only way to get the sub to work. Any Ideas? TIA

75x. same as the power source to my boost gauge. The amp has power when the sub doesnt work. If I turn the stereo off then back on the sub will not hit but the amp has power

The amp is on but the sub doesn't get power unless I disconnect and reconnect the speaker wires from the rear decks to the leveling harness.

.....so is the amp outputting any power to the sub, if not then its an issue is with the amp. If the sub is receiving power then you sub is bad.

My guess is the amp isn't reseting itself, try splicing the amp remote wire to the power wire for the factory amps. The way you have it hooked up now the amp is on whenever the car is on. You want the amp to only be on when there is power to the head-unit

What does the leveling harness consist of? Is it just a basic line level converter or does it need power- if so, what turns it on? Seems to be an issue in that area.
