Fuel Pressure Schrader valve on 1.8 AEB?

Where is the Schrader valve to measure the fuel pressure located on the 1.8T AEB?
Must be somewhere, or?
I need to splice in a fuel gauge to calibrate my AFPR.

There is no valve or sensor that measures fuel pressure. You need to put in a manual pressure gauge in the fuel pressure line that is connected to the fuel rail. Then unplug the vacuum line to adjust the FPR while the engine is at idle. This is what all of the A4 owners do when running a adjustable FPR.

Ok. I can stop the search for Schrader and start the search for adpaters to fit may fuel gauge to the existing fuel line. T needed to go between the screw type fuel hose/hard line connection, or just connect hard line side to gauge and leave hose (assume return line) open?
And disconnect vac line as indicated.

The gauge will just go inline on the fuel pressure line. You can just place it on the rubber hose by cutting it and putting the 2 ends of the fuel hose on the barb fittings.

I haven't thought about permanently installing a gauge, but it may be advisable with an AFPR.

One line feeds directly into the rail, this is the feed line.

The other comes out of the fuel pressure regulator, this is the return line.

You need to splice the feed line.

IIRC the feed line's bolt on fitting is slightly larger than the return too.

I think the supply rubber line connects to the metal rail via NPT connector. Would actually be nice to screw the inline fuel pressure gauge right on there.
Does anyone know what the NPT thread size is?

I have not seen anyone do it that way. It is just easier to cut the rubber line.
