Any Niagara Falls are 'ziners out there care to help me out with a favor? I'm in Ohio and last December I surprised my wife with a weekend trip to Niagara Falls, Canada to take in their Christmas Lights, as she loves that sort of thing. We made a stop at Niagara Falls Brewing, tried their Honeymoon Peach Raddler and loved it. Well, I tried it at least. My wife was (and still is, for about 3 more weeks) pregnant. I know she'd love it too, so I'd like to get her some for when she's no longer pregnant. I called up there and was told they don't distribute to the States, so to the best of my knowledge, the only way to get it is to drive back to Niagara Falls and buy some. Anyone in the Niagara area willing to pick me up a 6 or 12 pack and ship it to Ohio? Obviously the cost is on me, and I'll buy you a case of whatever you want as well as a thank you. Thanks.

Ya know, just found out that a license plate can be up to 7 characters. NJ Yellow is the worst color so I was also looking into dedicated or organizational specialty plates too..

Bear mountain has an octoberfest coming up soon. Maybe we can get some people together and head there. There are some really scenic and fun back roads in the area that we can caravan on.

$10 bucks per car to park, but it would be nice to have an official spot to cool down the cars after and eat. I don't mind. I'm thinking Saturday, October 14th. We can meet really early to avoid leaf watchers, bike riders, and hikers. 8am Meetup up in the area and run roads with some cool downs in between. How many chat members would be interested? I think 8-10 card would be an ideal crowd.

Haha, dude you're faaaaar. Syracuse is my hometown! I'm actually going there to weekend to pick up my b5 s4 from my friend. I haven't had the time or space to wrench on it myself in NYC. We have to meetup next time I get some more time. There are some nice roads we could hit up outside of Syracuse.

I'll leave really early Saturday morning and meet up with anyone along 84 (from Hartford to Central Valley) interested in cruising to this function

I'm down for a Bear Mountain run. Looks like ass because someone's girl backed into it...plus rust deterioration on fender (picked up new door, but needs a fender now due to rust). Moral of the story...car looks like butt cheeks for the time being but can still move, so I'm down.

Took a ride up that way today. Great scenery but Jesus the road conditions on one section are terrible. Have a small sidewall bubble from it.

There used to be an Audi cruise before the Wed Bear Mountain meets few years back. Forgot what exit, but we would meet on the Pallisades, hit the back roads of Harriman State Park, then go to the Bear Mountain meet. Only went once due to various reasons, but had a blast. Never pushed my car as hard and is whenbI actually learned what it is capable of.

Yeah that's impossible for a New Yorker. Takes like 2 hours to get out of rush hour.

Not sure...but it happened. I live more north, and if people were able to make it to the cruise then it was basically a bonus. If you are an all around car person, you would love the character put into each car. See the army truck for example! One I really liked was an old Suburban with an LS swap and LM reps. You could tell people mod for them.

Person in the S5 is from Fort Lee, but making it there out of rush hour is a whole other adventure. Used to work in the city, and I remember it took me an hour one time to travel maybe 3 blocks. That one was maybe the worst I encountered. But we would meet at like 4:30 and the meet stayed open till it got dark. You could always meet up at Bear Mountain, even if you missed the cruise. I personally was only able to make it to one.

That Bear Mountain meet is open evey year on Wed (I forget when they say the last one will be every year, but it is on the week of a certain US holiday iirc). People basically showed up whenever they got off work. That is what it was good for. Many people traveled from the city. There are much more sections not pictured. Pictured is maybe 2/3 of the vehicles. There is also a entire bike section...so maybe 2/3 is inflating the portion of vehicles shown.

Yea def worth the trip. I went to a couple as a college kid. I remember them being really fun but like street said, no way to get there if you're around the city

Greeting strangers!!!

I purchased an EGR Valve thinking that I would replace it on the Q5 TDI myself, but after popping the hood and looking at the engine...I realized, I'm now OLD.

Any recommendations for a reputable shop in the NYC area that would be able to swap out my EGR?
