H&R Cup Kits Assistance Please (pics too please)

    I have a 2008 Audi A4 S-Line.

I am going to be purchasing an H&R Cup Kit but i am just not sure which one to buy yet.

My options are: H&R Touring Cup Kit or H&R Sport Cup Kit

The investment of about $1400 after install/taxes/shipping/alignment etc... is significant so i didn’t want to make a rash/quick decision and then not be happy with the outcome i.e. too low of a drop or not low enough of a drop.

    PLEASE HELP...

If you have the same 2008 Audi as i do and have installed either of the above named H&R Cup Kits could you please chime in with photos and suggestions on quality of kit and comfort of ride???

I'm really hoping to get some pics of both Cup Kits on a 2008 Audi A4 so i can "see" how the drop itself looks.

Please check out profile pick to see my Audi: Current stock 17" wheels on stock Pirelli Tires P235/45/17: Upgrading to Hartmann 19" by 8.5 wheels at same time I install Cup Kit. Tire upgrade to Pirelli PZero Nero 235/35/19 (any other suggestions?)

    THANKS A MILLION!!!

First things first, don't buy a cup kit get coilovers, your just going to want to go lower and then be stuck with the shock spring combo and not be able to do anything about it but buy coilovers, so save the trouble and just get some coilovers

I have the sport cup kit. It handles well, but I would have ordered coilovers, in retrospect. I would like to have the ability to adjust the height.

How is the ride? Stiff? Would you be so kind as to post some pics of your Audi on this thread so I can get an idea as to the look of the drop?

Thanks for all your help, feel free to send pics to me directly if you wish.

It's the Sport version, so it's a bit stiff. My car has a rake, but I think it because the rear spring pad was retained. The kits don't come with instructions, so the shop retained them. I've heard that some suspension systems have it removed and some don't.

Not the best pics, but u get the idea.

the reply's have been fantastic! Thanks to all. I have been convinced to go with coilovers. Please chime in on best set for $1400 after shipping and taxes. Im not going to race my car. Just want it nice and low with as soft a ride as possible. I dont want to bang the fillings out of my teeth.

Thanks again for all your help!!
