i've been curious about this for a while. besides brake fluid, rotors, pads, WW fluid, tires... what else do they need in terms of maintenance / servicing? maybe like cabin air filter, is there anything specific to the electric motor? i know they get firmware updates OTA

Just annual services. Key batteries, wiper blades, AC filter and other small stuff. 2 year adds brake fluid and AC desiccant bag. Only time to touch the drive unit is when it needs replacement. Major part to the annual is inspection of the vehicle.

I just bought one of these but I'm having the hardest time with it. lol. Been to the Ross Tech website even, but still having trouble connecting consistently and getting some of the changes to stick. Next meet up I go to, I will bring. Maybe we can have a impromptu clinic with the resident experts. ha.

Long time user, first time poster. First just wanted to say how cool it is to see fellow Audi owners helping each other out. Makes me an even prouder Audi owner!

I recently put a Symphony II+ in my B7 A4 and was looking for someone with a VAG COM to help me enable the AUX input. I live in Arlington, about 5 minutes from the Ballston metro, and work in Bethesda. If anyone in either of those areas would be willing to help I would really appreciate it. Beers on me!

i am pretty sure you need an internet connection for that one.

Then go to the VCDS mobile app, and it'll ask for a password (atleast mine does). The password is "password" without quotes. Then its just normal vagcom. Let me know if you need any other help
