Just dropped my RS4 at Dynarev to get a carbon cleaning and fix a clutch issue. Adam was a pleasure to deal with and I'll report back once I get the car back. Far drive from Chicago but after all the rave reviews it's totally worth a shot.

Asked Rennology for a quote to install lowering springs in my A4 B9. They quoted $1000 to install ~$250-300 lowering springs. Needless to say. I won't be going there.

I'm looking for a shop to get APR stage 2 near Chicago. I called Audi Hoffman Estates and they quoted me $1400 and then I called GRD Tuned and they quoted me $900. I was in Phoenix last week and stopped in at Good Speed Performance to ask about the ECU upgrade and they also quoted $900 for the install. Anyone know why Audi dealership is so expensive and where should I go to get Apr?

I know this is old but for future reference, they will work with you if you are under warranty. They'll charge for each reflash, but gotta pay to play the mod/warranty balancing act.

Rennology quoted 2 labor hours ($189.95/hr) to do stage 1 ecu and tcu. Can anyone vouch for this being accurate? 2 hours to plug in a computer and install software!?

I got it installed at A&L autobody, Palatine, IL. They charged around $300 IIRC. Significantly cheaper than everyone else and they did it well. Install included a wheel alignment too. 100% recommended shop.

I ended up going to apex auto machine in Bensenville. Small shop, quick turn around and fair price. Anyone doing their own head gasket or builds I recommend this shop for any machine work.

If in the St Louis area DSX Tuning is incredible. They do more work with GM than Euro but it's St Louis which is pretty domestic heavy. The shop manager is an Audi guy, their lead tech is a former Audi dealer tech and they're an APR dealer. They did the work on my car (see sig) and I couldn't be happier. They really go the extra mile.

I had a very positive experience with MadAudi in the suburbs of Chicago. He is timely, accurate, knowledgeable, and he's a nice guy. His work is very fairly priced. I will definitely be back with any other upgrades on my B9 S4.

Recently did chains on my B7 and the rear main has since started leaking. Any shop near Green Bay that isn't going to f me sideways after I already spent thousands on the chains? Willing to travel for the right shop so Green Bay isn't a requirement.

Had my turbos upgraded in my S6 to RS7+ turbos, work done at Pinnacle Performance in Taylor MO (outside Quincy IL). Great shop, knowledge mechanics, especially on the 4.0T platform and Dynospectrum tuning. 10/10 would recommend. Location sucks, unfortunately

Took the A7 to J's Repair and Performance in Plainfield, IL. Unbelievable pricing compared to Audi stealerships. Two dealerships quoted $2300 and $1400 for a water pump replacement. With what Josh charged, I can change the pump 3-6 times compared to what the stealerships wanted for one go.

100% recommended.
