B8 Front Suspension Tower Brace

Came across this today and was wondering if anyone has it on their car; seems to be made by a malaysian company.

Question, will it have any affect at all given that the car does not use McPherson struts + there is a "2nd firewall" directly behind the suspension towers.
Seems to be more marketing and false steam.
