Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am hunting for a vw diagnostic tool, and come across VAG COMMANDER 8.6, I am told it is powfull with this function:
1)Extracting security access codes (PIN) by OBDII
2)Programming keys by OBDII. Preparation of dealer's keys.
    3)Mileage recalibration by OBDII
4)Clearing crash data DTCs by OBDII
5)Read/Program flash memory of engine control units by OBDII. Options for resetting the number of flashing attempts.
6)Exchange speed limit of MMI-TV system

I have no idea whether it is really so powerful, especially it is not original. I wish someboday will help me, and I post this link here:http://www.uobd2.com/wholesale/vag-commander-8.6.html.

any help I will be much appricated!

get ross tech Vagcom best money you can spend http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/m...ry_Code=VAGCOM, go with VCDS License with HEX-USB+CAN Interface for 349,
don't waste money on cheap cables that are hacked and copy of the original software

If you buy the genuine VAG K+ CAN Commander software, it's expensive, but very useful with the features you described. A large number of counterfeit software from China is available that simply does not work as claimed. VCDS is the top of the line diagnostic software available, but does not have the same capabilities as VAG K+ CAN Commander.

    See:http://www.kapdiagnostics.com/index....nders/vag.html

The baseline VAG Commander software (the new name for VAG K+CAN Commander,) is listed as Euro 3,300 then the add on applications are more.
