It should be pretty simple to fix I would think. They forgot to enable one of the lights. This is causing the flasher to go fast because it's running at a reduced load. I know this from trialling some coding. I was able to disable the little turn signal on the lights and it duplicated the issue you are mentioning. IF we could scan your car before and after they fix it, I'd like to see if they missed something.
No problem - as soon as Im back in the states, I'll set it up with you. Then I'll set up the "fix" with them, then we can re-scan. I was the first guinea pig that drove this RoW resolution after the leader of the group buy gave up and returned them. I was actually the first guy who tried the dongle too, and I REALLY wanted eCode LEDs - so I had a vested interest. I had to walk them through each difference between the NA and EU versions, which pin, wire and bulb lit what, cuz they didn't have an NA car nor paid much attention to the differences. But they did stand tall and continued to work with us, so I give them props. B's patience paid off though, and the last of the triumvirate is in the same state as me, so he'll also appreciate any resolutions.
I know now though that they really don't want the hassle (at least for eCodes retrofitted to NA cars) for this. I don't think they realize what they're missing with the entire B8 opportunity - and quite possibly the legal disclaimer for programming cars against the DOT...
