Which is better GIAC or APR??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
HAHA! Just kidding, I figured since the lions were out, I might have some fun!

To answer my own question, since I did search. If APR has a sale before the end of March then I will go APR, if not I will take advantage of the GIAC sale.

I think the APR sale just ended a few weeks ago, so they probably won't run another special until the Summer. Just guessing...

well its a bias opinion for my car..because something with the APR tune and my ECU/MOTOR doesn't match up correctly so i have crazy surging boost issues at WOT 3rd 4th and 5th. it only happens anywhere above 80-90.

theres more adjustments and play with the revo anyway. at the end of the day its just a box tune...they're all the same just about

yeh I hear ya man, I remember reading your comments the other day about the surging for your car one other car & APR etc..like you said, they are just off the shelf tunes. Ill have to read on things you can do with the REVO software - thanks!

yea the 100 off is another reason to go with revo...power wise its all the same..you wont notice any differences jumping in an apr tuned car, or giac tuned, revo tuned, uni-tuned, etc.

although since your from jersey...look into getting the Autospeed performance chip. also a box tune, but you can change settings with your iphone, and inclludes all programs with the tune (almost all other companies u have to buy programs)

Especially if they are releasing new stuff at H2O. But Goodspeed has returned every email promptly and informatively, unlike Tuning Gruppe which I have yet to hear from. I also just sent an email to the guys that do Revo, which is the closest to me. We will see how responsive they are.

I do like the fact that I can get all GIAC programming plus the program switcher for six bills, tough desicions...
