Pretty pricey, especially with the $50 shipping. Kits pop up on here pretty often.

well im still attempting to confirm all the right part numbers for the 3 things i need to buy off genuineaudiparts if that's cheaper.

this whole exercise is daunting though, because with bluetooth parts, vag-com and possibly rear view cam, its around $1400 so far...

Yeah, I hear you on that. It took me a while to source my parts. I ended up buying everything from here in the classifieds except for the harness. A buddy of mine modded my stock harness. There is a member on here and on audiforums.us called teddybgame. He will do a custom harness for you if you can't find one on online.

its funny, he actually custom made me one back in the day for my vw rabbit to run sirius i believe.

i found the harness from kufatec for $59.95, so i'm not worried about that. its the module like i mentioned in the telematics section that worries me more.

Make sure it's in stock before you order. I ordered mine and it said in stock and then I called to make sure and they said I wasn't and that they will be getting some in soon. It ended up taking months and I kept having to e mail them for a status update. It never came in and it was a terrible experience.

Yeah, the biggest pita is that module... can't believe it's $450. I wanted to call them to ask them about a video in motion module, so when I do that, I'll ask about the harness as well.

Yeah, $450 is a lot. I bought my whole kit off here besides the harness for less than $300.
