So i see all these people buying the Led lights whether they are the S5 or B8 A4 style. Everytime i see them on ebay or some internet store, they say that they are H7 or H9 but can also use the OEM xenon.

My question is, will the oem ballast plug n play or is heavy moding needed?

98% sure that if you are halogen you can upgrade to any. If you are OEM Xenon you cannot. But going from OEM Xenons to anything else kinda seems like a down grade to me.

well ya but i actually like the B8 style led. But i do have oem bixenon so i guess i cant swap the parts? hopefully someone thats tried chimes in.

no im not? im simply asking will oem bixenon conversion work. not "Where can i buy them"

Thanks phil. i wud get yours but A. i dont have that much and B. im on the west coast and need my lights ha.

Can u explain as to why they wont work? i figured transfer of parts wud fit

ahhh ok thanks. well guess im not doing those..maybe just blackout the headlights..
except i couldnt get them all apart for the life of me when i did CC. i couldnt get the chrome all out...only cud get lens off ha

you cant change to anything i dont think. cause most of these aftermarket leds use the halogen harness, i dont think they hook up to the bixenon harness. but if you ever do find one, i will gladly buy your bixenons. but you are seriously crazy for wanting to change to them from bixenons. just save and gets phils leds. and i have the dectane LEDs only because i had halogens, and got the dectanes with hid kit for 150. so compared to doing a bixenon phils leds conversion at over $1200 was a no brainer, if not just for the better light output alone.

but hey ive gotten compliments on them, just because super nazi german oem audi guy doesnt like them doesnt mean they dont look good. i think they look pretty good, the leds could be brighter and theyd be perfect.
