Hey guys I don't want to change the subject but a few days ago I broke my shifter. I think it's just a spring but when I took the cover off I couldn't find anything unusual. I put the car in reverse and when I took it out it wouldn't "pop" back up to I could easily throw it in first. I can now slide it into reverse without pushing down at all and have to make a conscious effort to find first at ever stop. Anything In particular I should look for under the cover? Thanks
Black wheels, yellow paint. Them dubs scared of it but M3s ain't.

umm theres a spring in the shift rod itself underneath the ball-end connecter.....sounds really tough to explain but if you look at jhm's website for thier hort shift product you can see the spring i am trying to get you to notice, from the top its hard to see, you may have broken that pring or something that holds that spring in place

shouldd be covered by warranty if not, your prolly looking at a new shift kit....mine as well go jhm and get the short shift kit to make sure it never happens again
