Exhaust Mod - Resonator replaced w/ X-Pipe (video)

    Most recent Iteration:

Rear mufflers straight piped, mid res replaced with non-res x-piped, front AWE DPs with resonators that are now v-banded for more flexibility down the road. The x-pipe replaced a magnaflow resonated x-pipe. With the non-res'd x-pipe, she's about the same volume at cruise and idle but snarls and pops a lot more and is certainly more raw under hard accel.

It's a subjective question, but I'd say for 99.9% of people, it would be too fierce. With the front resonators only, it's not bad under cruise but it is insanely loud under any type of load outside the car, not so bad inside, but tunnels are intense, in a good way. My dogs respond to me when I'm 3 blocks away, according to my roommate. And there is no way around the fact that it does drone, though the drone isn't any worse than when I had the resonated x-pipe, so it actually sounds like less since everything else is louder. I have yet to try swapping out the res'd muffler for straight pipes as they ran out of the stainless pipe at the shop and I haven't gotten back there yet for them to make up the pieces.

Also, this setup sounds raw and can sound raspy. I think it's awesome but some will find it too unrefined for this kind of car.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I had another question would the sound change if I put the x pipe on the baby Resonators or in the center resonator? Or it will be the same thing
