    Pressure control valve removal

I'm doing the bypass on my aux water pump and am removing the y pipe. Already ran into a problem. Tried search and could not find an answer.
Is there a trick to removing the pressure control valve from the y pipe? Do I just pull it out? I don't want to break it. Thanks.

The plastic ring around the clip should have two spots for you to squeeze, it'll pop right off after that.
