Not that Iím aware of, unless Iím wrong. Hopefully Iíll just find the right stiffness setting and leave it for the time being. Even on 7 for me seems a bit stiff.

What Did You Do To Your Avant Today?

Raised the front up a bit, it smoothed out the ride, too. Iíll drive it for a few more days before changing stiffness.

Two days into picking the ride up, installed APR stage 1 tune and added 12/20mm F/R spacers. Itíll do until I can get the new wheels on!

It took me a couple of weeks of dicking around with readjusting mine until they set where I wanted and stopped settling. Rides better after a couple of weeks.

Spacers make a huge difference - dropped mine off last night for a change up.

Yeah I guess the electronic dampening is for more of a track car use.

Once you find a sweet spot you'll probably never change it again. Just have to find the sweet spot

Since he is in Camas, he'd be better off ordering from audiusaparts.com which is the Sunset/Beaverton Audi's version of GAP. It'll save him on shipping since he can do will call and go pick it up, but still pay online prices

True but I thought they stopped doing online pricing for pickups? (According to Timjob I think)

They are not doing will call yet from what I was just told. I had to order a bunch of items last week and had to have them shipped to my house which I thought was dumb....why no will call yet?

They used to do it, I know that. Maybe they changed. I usually have them ship stuff because I'm pretty damn lazy, ha ha. I just ordered a couple things actually but it was free shipping so whatever.

    Thanks for all the options.

Next question. Im doing some quality of life stuff while getting repairs done and one of them is wraping all the chrome trim and im not sure what to do with the avant roof rails. Dont like the chrome finish, especially if the others are gone, but black seems weird. Anyone have any recommendations or pics?

It makes it feel warm during the rainy months - no clue it was there when we bought the house.

The house across the street from us is southwestern style and has a couple palms. There are some hearty ones out there.

^^^. I have 7 cars and the Avant was spending a lot of time parked. And my daughter & son-in-law really wanted the Audi, so made them a fair deal. Figured itís fun as hell to drive, but itís safe too & they have my granddaughter to transport about, so itíll be great for them.

Today I added shadow line to my window molding, that stuff is actually really forgiving to work with and it turned out really nice! If anyone is looking to black out their window molding, I'd encourage you to give this a shot! I used the 3 inch and it worked great. I actually wasted some trying to install in my driveway when it was too cold, so I cut it in half to 1.5 inch widths to ensure I had enough this time and utilized a friends heated shop for the install. On the quarter windows I sectioned it by using a small section of the full 3 inch part on the super tight corner and seaming it where the seam in the molding is, I'll post pictures when I can get a few in the day light, but other than that the 1.5 inch worked great. Gonna try to do my roof rails with the 5 inch stuff next.

    http://www.bmwshadowline.com/

EDIT: Ok, got out in the 34 degree cold today and washed the car, it was filthy!! Also ordered a bunch of detail stuff from Detailer Domain to take advantage of that 20% discount and the 5" shadowline for the roof rails, that's my entry for today.

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...in-with-20-OFF

This picture shows the bottom corner of the quarter window, you can see I put a small piece over the seam in the molding, the seam is near impossible to see unless you look close, another huge benefit to this stuff. But, this is where I used a full 3" wide piece, from here to the rear door jamb then used the 1.5" that I cut from there around to the bottom of the molding in the front of the front door.

Here's a side view picture of the same side, you can't see the seam obviously in the picture and even from a few feet in person you can't. Turned out really nice, looking forward to getting the rails done now too.
    What wheels are those?
