Alignment wasnít off by much. Front right toe was barely out of spec. Camber is obviously out of spec. This was the right rear. It has the most camber dialed in. I think I just need to be better about rotating the tires.

Still got 25k out of the set which Iím frankly satisfied with.

And Iíd been wanting to drop down in size for a bit and switch to the Michelins.

Just wish Iíd noticed it sooner so I didnít have to scramble around today but ultimately worked out.

They price matched TR, kept their warehouse open so they could go get the tires today, installed and did an alignment.

25k isn't bad but be aware that this isn't camber related. That is textbook toe wear

Edit. Had you caught it in time you could have had the tires flipped and gotten 45-50k out of them

Thanks. As I said I had it aligned too. But that tire also has -2.7 degrees of camber

It's not necessarily that it wasn't aligned, it's that factory alignment sucks for lowered cars - because the toe-in eats the inner edged of the tires. You really want close to 0į toe for best tire life. Especially once lowered

What Did You Do To Your Avant Today?

Yea that extreme wear on the inner inch or two is from toe and camber combined. Zero out the toe and you wonít have that issue.

Its worse with lowered cars but stock height cars can get the exact same wear if the alignment is hosed. Happened exactly the same as in your picture on my b6 at stock ride height because the toe and camber were out. Lowered heigh just exacerbates the issue.

Ecs just introduced their adjustable rear toe arms. They would help with this and at only $150 they would pay for themselves with just 1 tire.
