USP Motorsports presents | USP Billet Oil Dipstick!!!

An oil dipstick is a vital part of any car. The oil dipstick is a thin piece of metal that extends into the engine’s oil pan and allows you to read your engine’s oil level. In order to save money Audi and Volkswagen designed the oil dip stick with a plastic handle and a plastic level indicator. Overtime the plastic begins to crack and the dipstick will fall apart, dropping plastic pieces into your engine.

The USP Oil Dipstick features a billet aluminum handle, steel wire construction, and a steel level indicator. Unlike the factory plastic dipstick, the billet aluminum handle and steel wire will not crack or break overtime. The USP Dipstick is a direct replacement for your factory dipstick and installs in seconds. The billet aluminum handle features a black anodized finish and is labeled “Oil” for easy identification.

I would have bought one if it was a just gloss black on top, the "oil" text really kills it imho.

Have never heard of anyone having the plastic OEM one deteriorate to the point of disintegrating into the oil pan. On the other hand, it looks like it might be easier to read the oil level on that "dipcable" than on the plastic dipstick.

2nd, yea wish it was slimmer also, not something i want to notice first in my engine bay.

Wish I would have waited for this before buying the OEM one. Not sure why so many of you are complaining about the text on a dipstick, I like that it is easily noticeable.

Lettering is not that big. We had to zoom into the pics to get them to actually show off the handle.

I have one sitting on my desk and it is not large.

I'm with everyone else on this. You'd have my money if you sold one that didn't have that gigantic 'OIL' on the top. I know you said you zoomed in but in the second picture (that seems to be to scale) the 'OIL' on the stick still looks gigantic and out of place.

That's my feedback as a potential customer.

The second picture is zoomed in as well but is to scale but I understand the concerns.

At this time we cannot change anything about the lettering on the dipstick and I am sorry if you feel it is too large. Maybe after they are sold for a while and you may see one in person you may change your mind.

Now that you mention it, i didnt notice at first the picture was zoomed in, since its in a place that is blends into the engine.

Curious also if the length can be adjusted and if its currently at the same length as the factory stick. I recall people saying that the factory stick doesnt match the mmi reading.

think im going to pick on up on my next order with you guys.

Here is a pictue of the one above but without it being zoomed in at all.

As you can see the dipstick handle actual gets lost in the bay.
