Took the Audi to the track tonight. Car is 100% stock and has 58k miles but the clutch is very very tired. As it was barely coping with a 4k launch. Time for a new one. :)

I am an avid drag racer, as i am still in 1st place in their 1/4 mile section on another forum with my previous car. There will be more to come out of my car since I am installing a new clutch in the next coming weeks. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks, yes I ran the car just as it would be from the factory. As for fuel 93 as that is the highest available here in Florida. In the next few weeks I will be doing its first carbon cleaning plus a set of plenum spacers.

shoving the bogus kevkev times up with no real proof? also last time I peaked at it there were grumblings of people without apr tunes not being represented.

1 person tried to cheat the system, so I added a row for video and witness confirmation. Time slip confirmation was always there.

I add all the times that are sent to me. The tune doesn't matter and that's clear for all the forum members to see.

LOL A little more details? What exhaust? what suspension? Who made your supercharger kit? (Not just the blower) Tune etc? What Dragstrip? Do you have the slip?

The tts kit is made by tts and tuned by mrc. I think he has a milltek exhaust. Either way that et and trap is impressive. Arin I forget the exact conversion and I'm admittedly too lazy to look it up but 99 Ron is basically 93 here is it not?

I ran on 98 Ron tesco fuel Arin Michelin pilot SS tyres kwv3 suspension 034 Motorsport control arms and milltek Catless DP's non res. snapped a drive shaft on one of the runs or else I think there may have been a little more. You don't get 99 Ron in the uk

Yep, fuel in the US is rated by (RON+MON)/2 (it's on practically every pump in the country), also known as AKI (Anti Knock Index) whereas most other places use RON only.

A typical 99RON fuel will have a MON around 87-89, so it's the same thing as "93 octane" here in the US.

I doubt there's any major difference between 98RON and 99RON fuel anyway, see my post above and check out the list of fuels in the wikipedia link - it seems like they'll have almost identical AKI.

Thank you, I had a full spec list for my car somewhere ill try post it up. I've sold the car now had a good three years with it but couldn't take it any further. I genuinely believe if you ran a race gas tune and dropped a little weight the tts car would go close to 11 dead. It's not a direct conversion but 97 and 98 RON are pretty close to our 93. The Shell 99 is awesome.

Apologies Arin I ran on tesco momentum which is classed at 99ron, shell is good petrol as well. There isn't much between the two fuels tbh

Im not taking sides on this at all, but we will see. I hope APR can come up with something at least on par with the TTS. They are more then capable.

That or TTS bring their expertise state side.

Apologies I'm not taking sides either I'm merely commenting on my experience and that the tts has more to give without any doubt in my mind. You could run a race gas file slicks LW wheels and take some interior out run in the 10's(maybe) but what's the point? The only thing the tts lacks is some torque, if that could be added by maybe a higher boost pulley etc then it becomes real fun
