    Chrysler Crossfire Wheels.. thoughts?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So the past few weeks after seeing a set in my buddies shop, i started research a little bit into running the rear wheels off the Chrysler Crossfire.
Specs on the wheel are 5x112 , 19x9, ET 22. There was a trade in on a one tonight so i figured i'd test the fitment. they fit really well. Besides the lug holes being a bit too small. And the need for hub centric rings. Just curious, has anyone ran these before? thinking about picking up 2 sets of rears, since they are staggered (18x7.5 et 35 front)

The tires are 255/45/ , plan on running 225/45 ... Couldn't put the car on the ground , they were not bolted up.

    View from above the rear

A pic to better show a different view of the wheel.

Those look pretty nice, the et and width seem about perfect from the top down shot. You'd have to do something about the center caps though.

    i fucking dig it.

and for once, x2 on something about the center caps... even if you pry off the chrysler bit and fill it with bondo or something. that's just too much for even me to be ok with lol

the look is sick though, rock that shit hard

I was planning on doing that a while back but I dont want to spend 900ish for the four rear wheels. IT is for sure a upgrade for the guys that love rs4 wheels because it some what simlair as it keeps the oem look with a bit of concave. Alos the specs on the wheels are perfect if you want a nice stanced low car. You will have to run 225/35/19 or 215/35/19 and fender roller to fit them nicely.

better looking than i thought it would be, i was under the impression that having et 22 up front would have rubbing issues with stock fenders?

I like them, but if you get them paint them to get rid of that plastic-y look, and retrofit some audi center caps on there. Nice looking wheels though.

i think the question i should have asked if that was your exact car in the pictures.

i would sand the wheels down and rattle can them a flat silver. although im not opposed to glossy black on these either

But those are sic. Props for trying something new OP. Yeah, they're a tad plastic-ish but that's nothing a coat of paint can't solve.

From the looks of the top-down picture, you're gonna need more camber and serious fender rolling in-order to do this:

It's funny how when someone wants to put BBS reps on their car, everyone gives the OP crap about BBS center caps, and how they're trying to make it look like something its not. Yet, almost everyone on this thread is making recommendations and suggestions about modifying the center caps to "Audi" Why is this, someone explain.
