    I can tell you that I spoke to Prince today regarding this and he said they're going to tag this as a 2 step more than anti-lag. They aren't going to be playing around with building boost, but rather just having a very consistent launching technique for vacuum launches. He said Anti-lag is the boost building where the missing cylinders creates turbulence in the exhaust stream, whereas this isn't going to be doing that but holding a constant RPM so you can keep your foot down, slip out the clutch and nail it.

    Ah ok... figured as much. Nothing wrong with that and at least gives people an option.

    Seems that without a re-write of the assembly code, controlling fuel and ignition to give ME7 a true anti-lag isn't possible which is why I was curious if this was just an implementation of what has already been found by others or if Piggy actually was looking more into control of building boost with the 2nd rev limit.

    Why? The WOT box is far better as it actually will build boost but cutting ign cycles. Plus you can actually change the launch RPM on the fly.
