    cam chain tensioner is the cam chain adjuster?

    I'm being told that I have a loud cam chain tensioner and I'm wondering if that is also the adjuster. If not where is the chain tensioner

    Yes.. its the hydraulic tensioner located on the back of your head. Both are the same your talking about.

    I bought a used one online for 100 bucks. Works perfect.
