    1/ Take care of a nasty ding on the hood = complete repaint
    2/ Due to the above: Custom Face lift = Surprise

    i knew twas gonna be a boser. good luck- are you just adding metal to the area above the headlights i.e. molded eyelids? or extending above the grille as well? First option would be easier, but option 2 would be the most badass IMO. I made a custom one on my old mk4 jetta, and i definitely have plans to do it on the b7.. but not for a while. There are a few dudes that have done it in the UK; unfortunately I don't have my comp until Monday otherwise I'd throw up some pics.

    Can't wait to check it! I'm sure it'll look good.
