So for all you guys running the 034 HFC, did you purchase the gasket kit or just use the same one from stock? I know 034 reccomends it, but its not mandatory.

I'm going to get the o2 spacer. What you guys think?

I got the kit, didn't want to chance it. Beside the one on the stock cat was pretty messed up (practically fused on).

I actually didn't realize that you had to buy the gasket kit separate at the time when I got it, so I still have the stock stuff on there. No real issues with it.... But i'll eventually get it changed...

while we're on the subject, i just took a look at my HFC that came home. outside seems new, but inside looks used.

why is that? is it from testing or what?

As a rule of thumb, you should always replace gaskets if you've broken the seal. The odds of a used one remaining intact and forming a perfect seal aren't that great. I learned this the hard way when I put the stator cover back on my bike with the old gasket and oil spewed everywhere when I fired it up.

Ya that's weird. I mean regardless you shouldn't have a tested product sent to you. I would just get it installed and not worry bout it.

But I did go ahead and purchase everything, sure it will all work out...

Do you guys know where that rear o2 sensor is installed?

Yeah, I'm planning on changing it to the new ones soon. I am going to be changing my exhaust so I'll get it done then. Most likely after the winter.
