    Having a 3M protectant applied?

So im getting a spot on my car where the paint was bubbling(and not covered by warranty but anyway).
after thats done i was thinking of calling the dealer and seeing if i can get ahold of who they use to put the 3M protectant on new cars should you select the option(my cousins b8 has it). Maybe do from the bottom to the rubstrip, the hood and half way up the back to the trunk.

anyone ever look into this or actually get it done?

Are you talking about a film? If so, a lot of people have it.

Your original post doesn't make much sense.

The 3m film isnt going to mask the bubble spot. Its a great product and if you want to protect your car from getting worse, dooo it. Most tint shops, aftermarked shops will do it

i have it on my b7, came with it and all ill say is it was good at first but such a headache now. Right near the edge of the hood on the passenger side its starting to peel off because of heat from the turbo/exhaust manifold... Looks terrible up close...

Just make sure its the 3m product. The other products tend to fade and peel.
