Beautiful wheels. The only thing about the concave look is that a nice aggressive drop seems to compliment it MUCH better than a conservative drop ex. teky929r/1sicks5

    Nice.

Looks pretty close in terms of construction to the new DPE concave wheel. Would be interesting to compare them side by side.

Nice wheels, I found one place on line selling them for $1550 per wheel, little too rich for my blood.

360 forged concave wheels looks pretty deep. It measures 4 inches deep from the end of the spokes (outer lip) to the center hub. Haven't found deeper concave wheels than 360's (built for an s5) but than i could be wrong.

I paid about $1300.00 per wheel and the specs are 20 x 9.5 all around. The rear is a deeper concave due to the offset

Thanks! I had the toughest time deciding on wheels until I saw them on the DPE blog site. I immediately knew they I wanted them, similar concave depth front and rears. Thumbs up to Manu and the DPE team with the design.

    1300/wheel x 4 wheels = $5200 - I'm not sure where you're getting $7,000 for the set w/o tires?

HRE is a horrendous company, and their wheels have some sort of Grey Goose style following. They're really expensive, yet not well built, not that light, not that innovative and not that rare. I don't get it.

don't get me wrong i like hre's but what makes u think they're better quality than 360 forged? Some HRE models go well above the $7,000 for a set...audi drivers pick their own wheels because it suites their taste.

+1 they are both forged - your argument is invalid. Without proof from durability rating, I don't see why HRE would be any stronger than the 360 forged wheel

Let me just ask.....cleaning your rims like a part time job or is it better for you since your wheels are black (brake dust must blend in).

It's called engineering and quality control. HRE does everything in house to the highest standards. Most other wheel companies outsource EVERYTHING to the lowest bidder, often in some sweatshop overseas. Lots of things are made of similar materials, but that does not mean they are the same.

Agreed. I feel that the people that talk real bad about HRE never have owned HRE wheels at all. I never had the slightest issue with my set of HRE's in the past compared to: Maya's/Lowenharts/iForged/Dazz/etc etc etc... And if anyone that I personally knew did have even the SLIGHTEST issue...HRE was there to take care of the problem right away. Sure they cost an arm and the leg, but it's the kind of purchase that even after years of owning...you never regret it.

By no means am I talking down upon HRE, I just think the argument is invalid without proof. If I had the money I would have HRE's on my car all day! A set of P41's to be exact.

HRE can charge that kind of money because they are simply "HRE" They have built up alot credability throughout many customers and different car brands. However just like every company they did have problems as well. Anyone remember the banned from the track fiascos?
I know alot of shop owners and the one thing they always say is they dont even have to open up the box when a set of hre's arrive. They are perfect. No fitment/finish errors none of that bs.

With that being said, every wheel company has issues. Most of us choose wheels by price. I chose dpe because i tend to switch wheels every summer & friend loyalty.

1,300 per wheel is a pretty penny to spend.
