Throttle Position Sensor (G69) - Implausible Signal

Is there an easy fix? = Throttle Position Sensor (G69) - Implausible Signal

    CAR: 97 A4 1.8tqm

I got this code ever since I replaced my battery (old one was completely dead). After clearing the code it just keeps coming back after a short drive.

The weird thing is, vagcom still shows the proper throttle angle even with the code.

I did several TBA already. Is it normal for it to show around 6% throttle angle right after TBA, then I step on the throttle (engine off) a couple of times and it'l drop to around 3-3.5% throttle angle?

    Things done:
    1. TBA
    2. Check wiring (TPS sensor wire's fine, didn't check other wires of throttle)

Haven't done, but could be done, too lazy LOL:
    1. Try another ECU
    2. Clean throttle

Thanks for the info. But I was hoping (wishing) for a non-replacement solution

Maybe opening up the throttle and clean the TPS contacts? Or even bend them.

What bugs me is that, It drives perfectly. Perfect AFRs under boost. Except for the occasional lean at idle/part-throttle which can be solved by restarting the engine. I mean lean that it pegs the UEGO at full lean during idle. Weird thing is the idle doesn't stumble at all even at full lean. UEGO is only 2months old, So it should still be in good working condition.

Tried another ECU, same thing. Does it have anything to do with me changing battery?

And how come after I restart the car, vagcom can see throttle angle, instead of being stuck @45.1 degrees.
