Something is driving me nuts ont he nav and I havent been able to fix it. For some reason the "beep" that you get when you press the voice activation button on the steering wheel has all but gone silent.

No setting I seem to adjust makes it loud enough to hear. I've played with all the setup buttons etc.... Am I missing something. Its hard with out the beep because I often start speaking too soon and cant see that little face icon on the bottom of the screen to tell me its time to speak.

Sound like a stupid issue and question but it is really annoying. I use the voice dial a lot

    Thanks

It's buried under the car setup for radio or media, it's a selector named something like "voice cue" and there are dials to adjust how much it mutes the music you are listening to, and how loud the beep and voice cues are as well as how it listens to you speaking.

Thanks I will look there. It's the fader setting that's in the nave setup. I've played with all of them (I thought) but I guess there are more. Will look tomorrow.

    Thanks again
