    what belts do u use?

    Hey just wanted to know wat belts does everyone use for the accessory, i seen these good year gatorbacks that carry a good rep and was wondering if anyone used?

    yeah i was ussing the good year gator back with the cross directional ribs, lasted like 30k then i did my timing belt and it came with a new belt that i installed
    99 A4 1.8TQM:
    APR Stage 3 GT28rs kit, CM FX400 6puck, 3" downpipe, Nuespeed catback,Nuespeed short shift, Cxracing fmic, Forge007 DV, H&R coilovers, APR snub mount, gasket ported head, VDO guages, e codes, 6k's, Fiberimages CF hood/trunk, A8 BBK, IE Rods

    Personally, I don't like the gatorbacks at all. We always get belt noise complaints with them whenever we use them at the shop. I much prefer Continental belts (conti-tech). Excellent quality. Contitech is all we use for t-belts as well.

    I have a gatorback on mine, haven't had any noise ever. I got it because I replaced that belt by itself when I got the car. for the timing belt though I would go with the Continental (which is what I have on), and when I do my timing belt again and change all the belts I plan to use all the same belts (Continental) since it comes already in a kit.

    gator back all the way. i have had mine on for almost 20k and its holding up great. no noise at all
