Went to put my son in his car seat and noticed that the seat belt (which was retracted) was completely soaked. After looking around I noticed the water was dripping from the corner of the healiner (rear coner, driver side). I'm assuming this is the clogged sunroof issue. Then I noticed the rear section of the headliner was stained. Made an appointment with the dealer, but they can only take me next week. Anyway, any ideas if the dealer will replace the headliner? Shouldn't they, if it was caused by the sunroof issue? Anyone have this same thing happen before?
UPDATE: Dropped car off exactly 3 weeks ago. Rear sunroof drains were clogged. Dealer fixed it under warranty. However, they did not replace my headliner. They told me it was not covered under warranty. I showed them the stains that resulted from the water sitting on the liner, and asked if they could at least clean it. According to them, the detailing department could not remove the stains.
Eventually, the service rep took pictures and sent them to the regional Audi rep. 2 weeks go by and no word from the rep. So I called Audi Customer Relations and they followed up. Today I got a call from the service rep telling me that Audi gave them the go ahead to replace the head liner. It took a while and some complaining, but they came through.
