Oil temperature (APR stage 1 VS Stock)

I have enabled the lap-timer via VAG-COM quite long ago, which it also comes with the oil temp reading.

I noticed that Stage I mapping seems to have higher oil temperature than stock, where after driving 20 mins stock temp is around 95C, and with Stage 1 Octane 93 mapping its 100C.

Not quite sure if its normal that oil temp is higher when running 93 octane program.
Please share the your oil temp after 20-30mins of driving

well it kinda make sense since you are running the engine harder to get that extra horsepower. Nothing to be worried about since normal operating temperature is around 103C

btw my cruising temperature is at around 97C

well, it is actually beneficial for our EA888 to run a higher oil temperature from time to time. The higher temperature will aid the cleaning of carbon buildup in the TSFI engine.
